1. Agreement

By accessing or using the breaker cross-reference and the other tools provided here (the “Tools”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Tools. The Tools are operated by Bonus Level Studio, LLC (“we,” “us”), independently and not on behalf of any manufacturer or distributor.

2. What the Tools are — and are not

The breaker cross-reference re-publishes manufacturers' own published UL-Classified replacement listings as individual facts, to help you identify a candidate replacement breaker. It is an informational reference only. It is not engineering advice, not an inspection, not a recommendation, and not a guarantee that any breaker is safe, suitable, available, or code-compliant for your specific panel or jurisdiction. We do not test breakers or panels and are an independent reference.

3. Professional use & your responsibility

The Tools are intended for licensed electricians, electrical professionals, and informed users. Electrical work is hazardous and regulated. Before you purchase or install any breaker, you must independently verify — using the manufacturer's current documentation, the panel's UL listing and labeling, and a licensed electrician — that the breaker is UL-listed or UL-classified for your specific panel (NEC 110.3(B)) and correctly rated for amperage, number of poles, function (e.g. GFCI vs AFCI feeder vs AFCI combination), and interrupting rating (AIR), and that the catalog number is currently produced.

A licensed electrician and your local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) make the final installation decision. Never rely solely on the Tools. The Tools do not replace the manufacturer's instructions, the product labeling, or professional judgment.

By using the Tools you represent that you are at least 18 and have authority to accept these Terms (including on behalf of any business you act for); that you are using the Tools for a trade, professional, or informed business purpose; and that you knowingly assume all risk of relying on any result. You agree not to purchase or install a breaker in reliance on any result without the independent verification by a licensed electrician described above, and that any such reliance is unreasonable and at your sole risk.

4. No warranty

THE TOOLS AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, CURRENCY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Cross-reference data is compiled from manufacturer charts that may be outdated, superseded, or in error, and catalog numbers may be discontinued. We do not warrant that any cross is correct, current, or suitable for your use.

5. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OWNER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, FIRE, LOST PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THE TOOLS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE TOOLS WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Each limitation, exclusion, and waiver in these Terms is independent and severable: if any is held void or unenforceable (including as applied to personal injury or death), it will be reformed to the maximum limitation the law permits or, if it cannot be, severed — and every remaining limitation, exclusion, and waiver stays in full force.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us and our owner harmless from any claim, loss, damage, or cost (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Tools, your reliance on any cross-reference result, or any breaker you select, purchase, or install.

7. Acceptable use

You may use the Tools for your own professional or internal business use. You may not: scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or systematically extract the data; resell, redistribute, or republish it; use it to build or train a competing product or dataset; or circumvent any access control or rate limit. We may throttle or revoke access for abuse.

8. Trademarks & independence

The Tools' compilation, presentation, and original content are ours. All brand, panel, and part names are trademarks of their respective owners; we use them nominatively, only to identify compatible parts, and this does not imply affiliation or endorsement. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Eaton, Schneider Electric / Square D, Siemens, or any manufacturer. Some manufacturers advise against using classified breakers in their panels; acceptability varies and the AHJ decides.

10. Claims, changes & governing law

Time to bring a claim: any claim arising out of or relating to the Tools must be filed within one (1) year after it accrues, or it is permanently barred, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We may update these Terms; a material change gets a new version number and effective date and requires you to re-accept before you can view further results. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Tools and are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
